Taku Lake Park North
About
Taku Lake Park is a 53-acre municipal park located at 100 E 76th Ave in the Taku/Campbell neighborhood of south Anchorage, originally formed from gravel extraction and acquired by the Municipality in 1973. The park features a scenic lake surrounded by walking trails, fishing opportunities, tennis courts, a skate park, picnic shelters, and an outdoor fitness area. Community involvement includes support from the Anchorage Kiwanis Club, which donated a floating dock with ADA access in 1989, and the Anchorage Park Foundation, which has funded improvements including skate park upgrades and playground restoration.
