IdidaRide Sled Dog Tours
About
IdidaRide Sled Dog Tours, located in Seward, Alaska, is operated by the legendary Seavey family and has been offering summer dog sled tours since 1993. The Seavey family moved to their Seward homestead in the aftermath of the 1964 Alaska Earthquake and has become one of Alaska’s most accomplished mushing families, winning eight Iditarod championships. Guests can experience wheeled sled rides, kennel tours where they meet champion sled dogs and puppies, and learn about the famous Iditarod race that begins at “Mile 0” in Seward. The tours help keep the dogs in training during the off-season while providing visitors with an authentic Alaskan adventure.
