3 Friends Dog Park

3 Friends Dog Park is an off-leash dog park located on Aspen Drive in Soldotna, Alaska, that opened in 2017 and is operated by the City of Soldotna. The one-acre facility features separate areas for large and small dogs, pet exercise equipment, water stations, waste receptacles, benches, and a covered gazebo, all supported by lighting and security cameras for extended access. The park’s unique origin traces back to three community members—Martha Brewer, Dean Birmley, and Alice Puster—who bequeathed money to the city with the stipulation that it be used to create a dog park.
