The Local Bark Park

The Local Bark Park is a members-only dog recreation facility located at 4024 Power Inn Road in South Sacramento. The 7,500-square-foot park features a splash pool, climbing structures, sandbox, separate areas for large and small dogs, and enforces strict membership requirements including vaccinations and temperament testing to ensure a safe play environment. Owned by Mark and Kristin Minnie, the park opened in July 2021 and combines canine recreation with a social atmosphere for owners, offering locally-brewed craft beer and snacks at an on-site bar.
