SoMa West Dog Park

SoMa West Dog Park is a designated off-leash dog area operated by the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, located at Duboce Avenue and Stevenson Street in the South of Market neighborhood. The 7,000-square-foot dog park opened in 2014 as part of a major renovation project on land formerly occupied by the Central Freeway structure, and features separate play areas for large and small dogs, allowing canine companions to socialize and exercise safely under owner supervision.
