Jared’s Dog Park

Jared’s Dog Park is a community-organized nonprofit off-leash dog park located within Roosevelt Forest at 700 Peters Lane in Stratford, Connecticut, operated by The Friends of Jared’s Dog Park in partnership with the town. The park, which opened in August 2020 after 12 years of planning, features approximately 2 acres of fenced natural forest landscape with separate areas for large and small dogs, water fountains, agility structures, and double-gated entries. The park is named in memory of Jared Levine, a Stratford resident who loved walking his dogs in Roosevelt Forest, and operates on community fundraising and volunteer efforts to maintain its operations and facilities.
