Woodbridge Dog Park

Woodbridge Dog Park is a 1.5-acre, fully fenced off-leash dog park located at 112-126 Beecher Rd in Woodbridge, CT, serving as the first-ever community dog park in the area. Established in December 2019 by the Woodbridge Dog Park Cooperative, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the park features separate areas for small and large dogs and offers amenities including accessible pathways, benches, shade trees, and water fountains designed to welcome all community members, including those with mobility challenges. Founded by volunteers to address social isolation and provide a safe space for dogs to exercise off-leash, the park resulted from three years of community effort that included obtaining town approval and raising $65,000 through donations to construct and maintain the facility without using town funds.
