Iron Hill Park

Iron Hill Park is a 335-acre New Castle County park located at 1337 Old Baltimore Pike in Newark, Delaware, offering hiking trails, mountain biking routes, a disc golf course, a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, a playground, and picnic facilities. The park is situated on the grounds of Delaware’s most prominent geographical hill, which features significant Revolutionary War and industrial history, including iron mining operations that continued from the early 1700s until the late 19th century. The Friends of Iron Hill Park, a nonprofit organization, actively supports park stewardship through community programming, trail maintenance partnerships, and initiatives to encourage outdoor recreation and scientific research in the wooded area.
