Takoma Dog Park

Takoma Dog Park is a fenced, off-leash recreation area for dogs located at 300 Van Buren Street NW in Washington, DC’s Takoma neighborhood. Managed by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, the park features a circular design with agility obstacles, ample benches for owners, and a well-stocked poop bag dispensary. After a seven-year grassroots effort by neighborhood residents and dog owners, the park was approved and established to provide a safe, secure space for dogs to socialize and exercise.
