Yards Park Dog Park

Yards Park Dog Park is an official dog park located at 355 Water Street SE in Washington, DC’s Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, just south of Capitol Hill and east of Nationals Ballpark. The park features a designated off-leash fenced area where dogs can socialize and exercise freely, along with waterfront amenities including walking paths, shaded areas, and nearby free parking. Established in 2010 through a public-private partnership between the Federal General Services Administration, the District of Columbia, and Forest City Washington, Yards Park serves as both a community gathering space and dog-friendly recreation area managed by the Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District.
