17th Street Paw Park

17th Street Paw Park is the oldest dog park in Sarasota County, established in 1999, offering a spacious off-leash facility located at 4570 17th Street between Honore and Beneva avenues. The park features separate fenced areas for small dogs (20 lbs and under) and large dogs, along with amenities including water fountains, waste stations, agility equipment, and shaded seating areas for pet owners. As part of the larger 17th Street Regional Park operated by Sarasota County, it serves as a community hub where dog owners can socialize their pets safely while enjoying scenic trails and recreational facilities.
