Thomaston Dog Park

Thomaston Dog Park is a public recreational facility operated by the City of Thomaston’s Public Works Department that officially opened on September 1, 2022, following nearly six years of community members advocating for its creation. Located at 225 O Street S.W. behind Silvertown Ballpark, the park features separate play areas for small dogs (under 25 pounds) and large dogs (over 25 pounds), with amenities including splash pads, water bowls, swings, and playground equipment. Open daily from dawn to dusk, the dog park was completed under budget at less than $20,000 and incorporates recycled materials, serving as a community gathering space for dog owners to exercise and socialize their pets.
