Hawaiian Humane Society Kosasa Family Campus at Ho’opili

The Hawaiian Humane Society Kosasa Family Campus at Ho’opili is the organization’s second location on Oʻahu, opened to the public in May 2023 at 91-1945 Fort Weaver Road in ʻEwa Beach. This 27,000-square-foot “new generation” shelter on a five-acre property donated by D.R. Horton Hawaiʻi serves over 10,000 animals annually and provides comprehensive services including pet adoption, low-cost spay/neuter procedures, a Pet Food Bank for pet owners experiencing food insecurity, animal admissions, lost and found services, and educational community programs. As a nonprofit organization, the Hawaiian Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the human-animal bond and humane treatment of all animals, with the Kosasa Family Campus designed using innovative shelter best practices to minimize animal stress and disease transmission while serving an estimated 17,000 individuals annually across West Oʻahu.
