Kona Dog park

The Animal Community Center’s Central Bark Park in Holualoa, operated by the nonprofit Hawaii Island Humane Society, features two separate off-leash dog parks designed for large and small dogs. The facility, located at 78-6767 Mamalahoa Highway, offers amenities including shade pavilions, restrooms, poop bag dispensers, and outdoor sinks. The dog park represents the first phase of the 12-acre Animal Community Center, which is part of the Humane Society’s mission to prevent animal cruelty, eliminate pet overpopulation, and strengthen the bond between humans and animals through education and community engagement.
