About

Elaine Dobashi Dog Park is a fenced, volunteer-operated off-leash dog park located at 333 Keahole Street in Honolulu’s Hawaii Kai neighborhood, serving as a community hub for dog owners since it opened in 2008. The park features separate areas for small and large dogs, water fountains, benches, shaded trees, and waste disposal stations, maintaining a reputation as one of the cleanest and most well-maintained dog parks on Oahu. The park was renamed in honor of Elaine Dobashi, a passionate animal lover who worked for the Hawaiian Humane Society and championed the park’s creation as a safe, welcoming space for neighborhood dogs and their owners to socialize and exercise.
