Mother Waldron Neighborhood Dog Park
About
Mother Waldron Neighborhood Dog Park, located at 525 Coral Street in Honolulu’s Kaka’ako district, is a 7,900 square-foot off-leash dog park that opened in 2020 as the City’s 7th off-leash facility. The park is part of the larger Mother Waldron Neighborhood Park, a historic 1.76-acre public space named after Margaret “Mother” Waldron, a respected teacher and playground director known for her community reformist efforts. The dog park features a single large fenced area with two entrances and is complemented by the broader park’s amenities including basketball courts, pickleball courts, and a playground, making it a vibrant community gathering space.
