Windward Dog Park

The Windward Dog Park Hui is a nonprofit organization founded in 2015 dedicated to creating off-leash dog park facilities on Windward Oahu. Located at 45-231 Kulauli Street in Kaneohe, the organization successfully advocated for the development of Kahua O Waikalua Neighborhood Park, which opened in December 2024 as Windward Oahu’s first off-leash dog park, featuring approximately 3 acres with separate areas for large and small dogs, restrooms, picnic tables, shade trees, and drinking fountains for both humans and pets. The nonprofit continues to support park maintenance and community engagement through volunteer teams and fundraising efforts.
