Oldfield Oaks

Oldfield Oaks Forest Preserve is a 109-acre nature area in Darien, Illinois, managed by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. The preserve features 2 miles of trails through mature oak woodlands, natural wetlands, and restored prairie, along with an off-leash dog park and habitat restoration and wildlife conservation programs. The Forest Preserve District acquired the property through a series of purchases between 1998 and 2014, and has since removed invasive vegetation to restore native wildflowers and support diverse wildlife including foxes, great horned owls, and western chorus frogs.
