Eureka Dog Park

Lake Eureka Park in Eureka, Illinois features a dog park nestled within 240 acres of parklands offering separate areas for large and small dogs with wooded and shady areas and a nearby playground. The park was originally conceived by Eureka Middle School students Marissa Herrmann and Kelsey McClallen as part of a community engagement project, with the Eureka Illinois Dog Park Committee established to oversee its development and fundraising efforts to support the initiative.
