Prairie Wolf Off-Leash Dog Area is one of five designated off-leash dog areas within the Lake County Forest Preserves, located at 1917 S Waukegan Road in Lake Forest, Illinois. This 44-acre fully-fenced facility allows dogs to run and play off-leash while enjoying diverse terrain including open fields, wooded trails, and a pond for swimming. The park features training enclosures, water fountains, restrooms, shaded seating areas, and is operated by the Lake County Forest Preserve District, a government special purpose unit established in 1958.
