About
Springbrook Prairie Dog Park is a 1,829-acre forest preserve located at 29W128 83rd Street in Naperville, Illinois, operated by the DuPage County Forest Preserve District. The park features a fully fenced off-leash dog area where dogs with valid Forest Preserve District permits can enjoy spacious grounds, multiple hiking trails, picnicking facilities, and beautiful prairie landscapes. Acquired by the District between 1974 and 2002, the preserve is home to diverse wildlife and native grasslands, and serves as an important habitat for breeding birds and a state-designated nature preserve that local Naperville residents helped protect from development.
