Draco Park

Draco Dog Park is a fenced off-leash dog park located at 2104 Old Airport Road within Pontiac’s Recreation Complex. The park is named in honor of fallen Pontiac Police K9 Draco, who died in the same accident that claimed his partner Officer Casey Kohlmeier, reflecting the community’s commitment to honoring law enforcement animals. Featuring separate fenced areas for large dogs (over 30 pounds) and small dogs (under 30 pounds), the park offers amenities including water fountains, waste receptacles, picnic tables, shaded seating, double-gated entrances, and complimentary poop bags to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all dogs and their owners.
