Mehlig Dog Park

Mehlig Dog Park, located at 1701 West Carter Street on Kokomo’s west side, is a community-operated dog park that opened in March 2008 as the city’s first official public dog park, made possible through sponsorships and donations. The park features separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, agility equipment, shaded rest areas, waste disposal stations, and water amenities where dogs can safely run, play, and socialize. Operated by dedicated volunteers, Mehlig Dog Park serves as a welcoming community gathering space for local pet owners and their companions.
