Dog Park

Cedar Rapids operates multiple off-leash dog parks, including Cheyenne and K9 Acres, managed by the City Parks & Recreation Department. Cheyenne, located off Old River Road on the south side near the Cedar River, spans 13.8 acres with separate main, training, and small dog yards, plus walking trails and shelters. K9COLA, a nonprofit organization, actively supports and promotes these safe off-leash areas in the Cedar Rapids and Marion region.
