East Lake Park – Dog Park

East Lake Park’s dog park, located at 1722 Lexington Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, is an official off-leash facility featuring a fully fenced area with separate sections for large and small dogs. Opened in 2021 with support from community donations and grants, including a $19,000 donation that jump-started the project and a $9,000 grant from the Henry County Community Foundation, the park offers free entry and serves as a gathering space for local dog owners and their pets.
