Veterans Park
About
Veterans Park is Spring Hill’s newest public park, located on the west side of Spring Hill City Lake near U.S. 169 and Lone Elm Road. The 40-acre park, which opened July 4, 2020, features fishing opportunities, a lakefront trail, the Melvin Murray Dog Park, a playground, canoe launch, ADA-accessible fishing jetties, picnic shelters, and the Veterans Memorial Plaza dedicated in 2023 to honor local veterans. The park represents a community investment approved by Spring Hill voters in 2008 and is maintained by the City Parks Department as part of Spring Hill’s comprehensive parks system.
