Central Bark

Central Bark at Wendell Banks Southside is Ashland, Kentucky’s official city dog park, featuring separate areas for large and small dogs with water fountains, seating, and training toys. Located in the lower area of Ballard Street off Blackburn Avenue, the 5.25-acre park was repurposed from its previous use as a swimming pool and then a ball field. The park opened as a community recreational space and continues to serve as a popular destination for dog owners seeking a fully fenced, off-leash environment where their pets can socialize and play.
