Pontiff Park Dog Park

Pontiff Park Dog Park is a public dog park located at 217 Fairmont Avenue in Metairie, Louisiana, operated by Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation as part of the larger Pontiff Playground facility. The dog park opened in early 2017 and occupies 25,000 square feet of previously under-utilized land, featuring a fenced area where dogs can run freely and socialize, along with benches and drinking fountains for both dogs and owners. The park is open Saturday through Thursday from 8 AM to dusk, and Friday from noon to dusk, with specific rules in place to ensure safety and maintain control of pets.
