Crescent Bark

Crescent Bark is a fenced dog park and off-leash recreation area located at 3800-3898 Chartres Street in New Orleans’ Bywater neighborhood, situated within the larger Crescent Park along the Mississippi River. The park provides space for dogs to run and play with amenities including agility equipment, water fountains, seating for owners, and trail access, with no entry fee required. As part of Crescent Park’s broader green space initiative launched in 2014, Crescent Bark serves the local community as a gathering place for dog owners to socialize while enjoying views of the New Orleans skyline and the natural river ecosystem.
