Thorndike Dog Park

Thorndike Dog Park is an off-leash recreation area located at 99 Margaret Street in Arlington, MA, near the Minuteman Bikeway. The fenced park, which opened in May 2012 with support from the Arlington Dog Owners Group and a grant from the Stanton Foundation, features separate areas for large and small dogs, agility equipment including tunnels and dog walks, open spaces for exercise, water bubblers, and shaded seating areas for owners. The community-managed facility is maintained in partnership with the Town of Arlington Recreation Department and the Arlington Park & Recreation Commission, with the Friends of Thorndike Dog Park volunteer group working to support and preserve the park as a recreational resource for local dog owners.
