Olson Dog Park
About
Olson Dog Park is an off-leash dog play area managed by the City of Ann Arbor, located at 1551 Dhu Varren Road in the south-central portion of Olson Park, a 54-acre facility jointly owned by the City of Ann Arbor and the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner. The dog park, just under an acre in size, is one of three off-leash dog parks operated by the city and requires an annual permit for access. The park features a fully fenced play area with amenities including benches, picnic tables, water access, waste stations, and was created on the grounds of a former gravel mining operation that has been transformed into a community recreation space with wetlands, woods, a pond for stormwater management, and various family-friendly facilities.
