Northern Tail Dog Park

Northern Tail Dog Park is a 2.5-acre, double-gated, fenced off-leash dog park located at 6400 Abbot Road just north of the East Lansing Softball Complex. Constructed in 2007, the park features separate fenced areas for small dogs under 22 pounds and larger dogs, along with amenities including shade trees, waste stations, and landscaping. The City of East Lansing operates the park free of charge during daily hours from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., providing community members with a safe environment for dogs to socialize and exercise while promoting responsible pet ownership.
