Stony Creek Dog Park

Stony Creek Dog Park is located within Stony Creek Metropark in Washington, Michigan, and serves as the first off-leash dog area in the Huron-Clinton Metroparks system. The park features two fenced areas separated by dog size (small dogs under 25 lbs and all dogs), off-leash play areas, water fountains, waste stations, accessible facilities, and pet-friendly trails. The dog park opened in response to community requests for a dedicated off-leash space and was funded through a $50,000 grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and matching funds from the Huron-Clinton Metroparks.
