Off-Leash Dog Area

The Off-Leash Dog Area is a fully fenced dog park located at Roosevelt Park in Richfield, Minnesota, operated by the City of Richfield Parks and Recreation Department. After years of planning and community input, the city opened its first off-leash dog park in November 2020, recognizing the growing demand for dedicated dog exercise spaces among residents. The facility features separate areas for large and small breeds, grooming stations, waste stations, fire hydrants, accessible picnic tables, shade trees, and lighting for evening use. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and requires dogs to have a current city license and rabies vaccination to use the facility.
