Swope Dog Park

Swope Park Off Leash Dog Park, located at 4701 E Gregory Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, opened in August 2012 as Kansas City Parks’ second dog park. The five-acre facility is divided into two separate areas—one acre for dogs under 30 pounds and elderly or disabled dogs, and four acres for larger dogs—both equipped with water fountains for dogs and people. Operated by Kansas City Parks and Recreation, the park allows dog owners to exercise their pets off-leash with voice control while maintaining a maximum of four dogs per adult handler and requiring cleanup of waste.
