Platte Landing Park Dog Park

Platte Landing Park Dog Park is a public off-leash dog facility located at the end of Main Street in Parkville, Missouri, adjacent to the 140-acre Platte Landing Park along the Missouri River. The dog park features separate fenced areas for large and small dogs—approximately 3 acres and 2 acres respectively—each with double-gated entries and amenities including water fountains, shaded seating, and complimentary poop bags. Established as part of Parkville’s expansion of recreational amenities for pet owners, the park operates daily from 5 a.m. to midnight and is maintained through community responsibility, with no staffing but strong participation from local dog owners who supervise their pets and maintain the facility.
