Veteran’s Park

Veteran’s Park is a public community park located in Hawthorne, Nevada, at the corner of Highway 395 and 10th Street. Serving as a memorial dedicated to those who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces, the park features dog-friendly amenities, comfortable tables, and shaded structures, along with memorial and windmill structures built from recycled munitions. Managed by the Mineral County Parks Department, Veteran’s Park is open 24 hours daily and has become a landmark in the community, offering residents and visitors a welcoming outdoor space.
