Newport Dog Park

Newport Dog Park, developed through a collaborative effort between David’s Dawgs nonprofit and the town of Newport, NH, is a community dog park facility designed to provide safe off-leash recreation for dogs of all sizes. The park was established after David’s Dawgs won the PetSafe Bark for Your Parks grant competition in 2021, securing $25,000 in funding for construction on a 5-acre town-owned parcel located along the Sugar River just off Main Street. The facility features separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, training areas available for rent, agility obstacles, seating, water access, and parking.
