Fishbridge Park Garden Dog Run

Fishbridge Park Garden Dog Run, located at Dover Street in New York’s Financial District near the Brooklyn Bridge, is a community-managed dog park and garden developed from a former garbage dump through volunteer efforts beginning in the early 1990s. The park features separate areas for dogs to play off-leash, along with water amenities, seating, and a lower garden section, and was formally dedicated as an official New York City GreenThumb Park in 1997. Managed by the South-Water-Front Neighborhood Association, the park serves as an active community gathering space that hosts events and activities throughout the year while maintaining significant neighborhood involvement in its upkeep.
