Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park

Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 3993 Hollenback Rd in Lewis Center, Ohio, dedicated to maintaining and improving the Alum Creek Dog Park. Founded in October 2004 through a community partnership initiative, the volunteer-run group oversaw the park’s construction and opening in June 2006, which has since become a beloved destination for dog owners with separate areas for large and small dogs, amenities including a swimming area and water fountains, and monthly community cleanup events. The organization continues to engage local dog lovers through fundraising efforts, special events, and ongoing maintenance projects that have earned the park recognition including a Superior Award from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association.
