About

Rocky Fork Metro Park is part of the Columbus Metro Parks system and encompasses 1,096 acres of woods and fields near New Albany, Ohio. Established in 2015 with the initial vision of Village Planner Keith Myers and supported by gifts from the New Albany Company and contributions from the City of New Albany, City of Columbus, and Plain Township, the park was designed to preserve the rural character of the area while promoting environmental stewardship. The park features over 3 miles of walking trails, a 3-mile bridle trail, a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, picnic shelters, a playground, and recreational opportunities for families, hikers, equestrians, and pet owners.
