Swatek Park
About
Swatek Park is a public community park located at 2301 NW 29th Street in Oklahoma City’s Shepherd Historic District. Donated to the city in 1931 by Mike and Lottie Swatek, prolific developers and civic leaders, the park features playgrounds, multi-use spaces, dog walking areas, and facilities for baseball and picnics. The park honors the legacy of its namesakes—Mike Swatek being a former building contractor, road paving entrepreneur, and city councilman who played a significant role in developing the neighborhood.
