Tabor Park—a 176-acre park built on an extinct volcanic cinder cone. Operated by Portland Parks & Recreation, the off-leash area is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and offers dogs of all sizes ample space to run and socialize with amenities including water stations, waste stations, and shaded areas. The park is maintained with volunteer support from the Friends of Mt. Tabor Park and represents one of Portland’s beloved recreational spaces, combining natural beauty and community-focused dog recreation.
