Pet Exercise Area – Silver Falls SP – South Falls Day Use Area

The Pet Exercise Area at Silver Falls State Park’s South Falls Day Use Area provides an off-leash space where dogs can run and play under voice control. Located about 13 miles south of Silverton, Oregon, within the expansive 9,200-acre state park, this designated dog area complements Silver Falls’ commitment to being pet-friendly while protecting sensitive wilderness areas. The off-leash zone is one of several amenities at the South Falls Day Use Area, which has served visitors since opening in 1933, and is supported by Friends of Silver Falls, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park’s recreational and educational opportunities.
