W. Leroy Lewis Dog Park

W. Leroy Lewis Dog Park is a community dog park operated by Middle Smithfield Township in East Stroudsburg, PA. Originally opened in 2014 at Judy Putek Park, the facility relocated to its current location at 108 Leroy’s Lane in 2015 with an official ribbon cutting. The park features two fully-fenced areas with separate sections for large and small dogs, providing open space for off-leash play along with amenities including seating, picnic tables, water access, and parking. Named in honor of longtime caretaker Leroy Lewis through a 2018 board resolution, the dog park has become one of the area’s most popular recreational facilities and also serves as home to the Township’s temporary ice rink during winter months.
