Lawton Farm
About
Lawton Farm is a 54-acre conservation and recreation area located on Seven Mile Road on the Scituate/Cranston border, managed by the Scituate Land Trust in partnership with the Scituate Conservation Commission. The property is primarily managed as a grassland bird sanctuary featuring large open fields with mowed perimeter trails, creeks, and woodlands that provide habitat for numerous species including bobolinks, monarch butterflies, box turtles, and red-tailed hawks. The farm welcomes visitors for hiking and nature observation year-round, with an educational kiosk at the entrance featuring bird illustrations created by local schoolchildren.
