Impossible Dream

The imPOSSIBLE Dream is a nonprofit organization operating Rhode Island’s first integrated playground at 575 Centerville Road in Warwick. Established in 1982 by John D. Florio, the facility is specifically designed so children with disabilities can play alongside able-bodied children, featuring accessible equipment including swings, slides, a castle, miniature golf, and adaptive play surfaces. The playground remains dedicated to its founder’s mission of creating an inclusive space where every child can play, operating seasonally from April through October and welcoming over 9,500 visitors annually.
