Pierre Community Dog Park

The Pierre Community Dog Park, located on East Sully Avenue in Pierre, South Dakota, is a public recreational facility that opened in January 2023. The nearly 2-acre park features separate fenced areas for large dogs, small dogs, and a common area for community use. Created through a public-private partnership between the City of Pierre and the Central South Dakota Board of Realtors, the park was developed with support from the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources and funded in part by Placemaking Grants from the National Association of Realtors.
