Urban Dog Bar

Urban Dog Bar is an off-leash dog park, bar, and restaurant located at 5700 Ohio Avenue in The Nations neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. Founded by husband-and-wife team Rebecca and Austin Gauthier and opened in October 2024, it features a 15,000-square-foot outdoor park with separate areas for small and large dogs, a 5,000-square-foot climate-controlled indoor space, and a full-service bar and café. The venue offers supervised play through trained staff members called “Rufferees,” hosts regular events including trivia nights and breed-specific meet-ups, and welcomes both dogs and people with a vision of creating a community-focused space where dog lovers can socialize without leaving their pets at home.
