William A. Pitts Park is a 20.9-acre public park located in Nashville’s Antioch neighborhood that serves as a recreational hub for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The park features walking and hiking trails, playground equipment, basketball and baseball courts, picnic areas, and a large fenced dog park with separate zones for small and large dogs. Named in 1975 in honor of William A. Pitts, a prominent city administrator who served as the first Metro Director of Public Works, the park offers a peaceful retreat from urban life while fostering community engagement through its diverse recreational amenities.
